THE CULTURE EXPERIENCE
Whether you work internationally or in diverse teams, travel or live in a multicultural setting, the impact of cultural differences must be considered in todays world. You may not even know that these differences exist. Or you may have difficulties communicating across cultures, but do not quite understand why.
The ‘Culture Experience' is a learning journey dedicated to giving you the tools to understand your own reactions to cultural differences, and to find new ways to relate to people who live and work differently to you.
How can we build more meaningful intercultural relations at home and internationally? How can we learn to see the world from the perspective of others? How can we overcome fears, biases and stereotypes and build more inclusive communities?
By creating the emotional map of your own cultural journey you will get a third party perspective on what works for you, enabling you to move forward using an approach that creates success. Sharing stories and comparing perspectives, making sense of emotional reactions and developing empathy across cultures will help you broaden your vision, not only for a deeper understanding of culture, but also for more effective communication and successful interactions.

Bernd Gibson is an international trainer and expert in the field of intercultural relationships.
Half German, half English by birth, and now living and working in France, Bernd knows very well how moving between and within new cultures can present challenges in both life and business.
